It is a great time to go back to Samsung

Samsung Galaxy S8 was announced and after the big Note 7 scare, it is Samsung’s time to show how it can remain to be Apple’s biggest competitor in the smartphone business.
Since the Samsung Note7 release in 2016, Samsung has recalled more than 2.5 million phones for the battery issue that caused the phone to explode. Samsung just recently released a report about the discovery of the problem. The report stated that they discovered that third party manufacturer of the batteries had issues with battery casings which was the main issue in causing the explosions.
Now the tech company is back unveiling its new product the Galaxy S8. The Galaxy series is Samsung’s flagship phone and has not suffered from the explosive issue. The consumer still showed skepticism in the phone series. The Galaxy S7 was also released in 2016 and the Wall Street Journal reported that Samsung had still suffered a $5 billion loss in sales. The company is now in the process of gaining the trust of the consumer back. This is a great time in the smartphone industry because the competition has increased because of Google’s new phone, the Google Pixel. Competition increases innovation in the tech industry. Also, Samsung stands to lose a lot of money if it cannot pull off some impressive maneuvers with this new flagship. The rumor mill has been running rapidly since the announcement of the Galaxy S8. There are the few features that have were mentioned before that have been confirmed but the features that have not even been announced yet.
From a regular consumer standpoint, the company has put out a product that has endangered people lives and it might take more than the company coming out and apologizing. Even people who are heavily involved in technology have a right to be skeptical about the new phone. Samsung seems to be doing its best to prevent the same issues from happening. This is the company’s big turning point. The biggest fact is that Samsung did take responsibility for its actions. It is putting extra precautions to help prevent the issue from happening. The extra effort they are putting into innovate the technology will put them over the top. This company is going out of its way to say it is are sorry now it is time for the consumer to listen.

Hands down, Ap&12p#8el7;s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

To me not really. The iPhone suffers from the same thing it always has. Its restrictions keep it from truly unlocking its potential.
