Finishing The Wold Among Us happened to be an amazing story which begs to be played to beginning to end.
As someone who has never read a single entry of the Fable series, this is a great introduction into it. Starting off with some old run down apartments, you begin playing as Sheriff Bigby Wolf. The main character whose reputation can either get worse or get better as the game progresses. There is a murder in Fabletown and it is up to you to figure out who is behind it. That is all that an be said without spoiling the game.
The Wolf Among Us is has a wonderful story full of great characters based on childhood stories. This was probably the most interesting aspect of the game. Having fairy tales become average everyday people. A lot of the characters you meet will have problems based on their own stories and this will lead to different dialogue conversations.
The lore is also great as well. The average human is called a mundy, and the mundy world is separate from the fable world. For some of the characters to properly blend in they have to buy glamores from witches.Glamores provide some of the less human looking fables to be disguised as a human.
The worst thing about this game is the frame rate drops awfully. I was playing on console, so when I jumped right into it the scenes would be choppy. If it is a fight section, you might as well give up on even trying to pay attention to what is happening and hope you hit the right buttons. A way around it was if you wait a few minutes before you start playing, I am assuming that the game will finish properly loading and play a lot better. This is the only negative. The Wolf Among Us is a must play for sure.
